As a housing company, LeefGoed has a strong ambition: to give all the residents of our more than 6,000 social rental and owner-occupied homes in the Zuiderkempen and Neteland region as many opportunities for a home as possible.

Originally we had social residential care cooperative 'Zonnige kempen' as a client of Zero Friction. Since July 1, 2023, it falls under 'Leefgoed', together with some other housing cooperatives. Founded in 1963, Zonnige Kempen was the youngest social housing company in Flanders. Sustainability is in the DNA of LeefGoed, but they also participate in initiatives abroad to spread their knowledge about sustainability in social housing.One of the initiatives of LeefGoed is the optimization and digitalization of the collective energy systems in their homes. Joris Van der Flaas, Expert in sustainability and techniques, came across Zero Friction when searching for digital solutions to optimize their collective energy systems.
