WHO IS TWIKEY?

Twikey was created in 2013 out of an urgent demand for its services. The company improves the administrative flow that direct debits entail. Through constant innovation and collaboration with customers, Twikey has been transformed into a one stop shopfor online payments (direct debits, online payments and payment links).

WHY THIS INTEGRATION?

Twikey eases the process of gathering the bank statements and importing them in the Zero Friction platform. Zero Friction offers this integration as opt-in, so it can be sold separately. An administrator should be able to enable and disable this functionality. We will implement this ease of use improvement in one phase.

Without Twikey a customer service employee should periodically download the bankstatements from the banking environment and upload them in the ZF system. Thesestatements are then processed and matching ‘outgoing banking transactions’, then confirmed, setting the invoices/ refunds as paid, or rejected, leaving the invoices/ refunds unpaid.

Theseactions are time consuming (uploading the bank statements in the Zero Frictionsystem), so we wish for them to be automated. The integration with Twikey eliminates the need for customer services employees to periodically go to the bankenvironment to gather the bank statements.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Twikey provides a central API to receive bank statements from and upload files to.

LIMITATIONS

The integration with Twikey supports a selected number of banks in a selected rangeof countries. Twikey only sends an update once per day, around midnight. Instantsending thus is not supported.
